I love those moments when nature seems just as - if not more - intelligent than us. I think we humans need to be reminded of our place in life more often. Our population is far too egotistical of our existence and far too careless of all others. We are ONE species out of billions - how dare we think ourselves to be Gods? What you may see a stupid animal or a mindless plant may be reading your mind or carefully contemplating the purpose of the universe and you'd never be the wiser. Simply because they can not understand our language does not mean they are less intelligent - their species is older and wiser. It is we who are too foolish and stupid to remember and speak the language of nature - the language our own species once spoke. We have forgotten too much yet we convince ourselves just the opposite. We believe we've come so far in the world. Oh really? We are tearing our planet apart and slowly poisoning our own species and every other species on this planet. I certainly wouldn't call that progress. You claim our technology is advanced? Our technology still, to this day, can not come even close to matching that of the ancients who built great monuments that were 100% to a hundredth of a decimal perfectly aligned with every piece of themselves and the stars above them as well as the Earth's magnetic fields. THAT is advanced. We are fools who throw sticks and stones at ourselves and the world, who climb to the top of the nearest dirt pile and stand upon in, beating our chests and imagining a halo of sovereignty above our heads. So I raise my hand and salute you, nature. You remain so patient with us no matter how much we hurt you - like a mother patiently watching a growing, learning child. I dream of the day when humans remember the sacredness of nature and of being "one" so that we might actually begin to understand the concept of "God."

Watching the news of the recent deadly storms that have pummeled Central America in a way that is unusual even for Tornado Alley, it is clear the Mother Nature is sending us a clear message. "Change your ways of living or you shall not live at all."

We have abused our Mother Nature far too much and it seems she's fallen into battered woman syndrome. She's sick of being abused and now she's fighting back. Even religions have been warning us of this time for centuries. The evidence is clear both in the present and in ancient history yet STILL we deny it. We stick our heads in the grounds and act like everything will turn out okay - we fool ourselves into believing there's no real immediate need to change. How long before we admit what is already in front of us? The longer we wait, the more we will suffer. Wake up, humanity, before it's too late!

Many ask me why I see "God" (or, in my more spiritual view, the great energy that created all of existence) as that of a feminine nature as opposed to masculine.
I ask you to look around your world - look at all the perfection: the precise laws of physics, the Fibonacci sequence, the genius of evolution, etc. When I see these things, I could only believe them to be created by a feminine force (note: I do not say a woman - I do not believe "God" is neither male nor female.) Such perfection must be the result of the greatest and purest power that exists in our world - love. And what greater, deeper love is there than that of a mother - the one who forms life and gives birth to great and precious miracles? Everything in our existence is such a great and precious miracle - every detail of our existence so precise and perfect - I can only conceive its conception from a deeply loving, caring, mothering force. Masculine forces are swift, reactive, rough - not at all what something so perfect and elegant requires to come into existence. No, such beauty, perfection, and precision must come from the careful and loving conception of a Mother.
I am not saying "God" is a woman or that "God" is not a man - simply that I believe "God" is a force and is a feminine (vs. masculine) one.

Google Chrome is amazing. I actually wrote this a few days ago but accidentally closed Chrome and thought it was gone forever. Then I came back to post and it asked me if I wanted to restore what I'd written. <3

- Edit 12/20/2013 -

Looking back on this, I see already I have grown.
The omniverse is neither solely feminine nor masculine. It is androgynous, a perfect balance of the two.

Yin and yang, female and male, feminine and masculine, water and fire, earth and wind.
It is when we upset this balance that our world falls into chaos and what a chaotic
world we have created for ourselves.
Will we ever find balance again?
